Seema has served as a senior development professional with over 25 years of experience across healthcare, women’s empowerment, social inclusion with proven leadership in program management, strategy, advocacy and partnership development. During her career, she successfully designed and led public policy and advocacy efforts towards formulation and implementation of health policies in Tobacco control at National and State level and in the National Health Mission including reproductive child and adolescent health, non-communicable diseases anchored partnerships with donors, government, international philanthropies, private sector, bilateral agencies and civil society networks. She contributed in establishing successful state level models in 5 states, for implementation of Tobacco control policies with state, civil society and political leaders and built and strengthened partnerships with Corporates, Business Associations, Govt., USAID and philanthropy for Elimination of TB. She has been actively involved in engaging corporates to invest in elimination of TB through the Corporate TB Pledge program. She envisioned and developed an Online Platform to digitally service the Corporates and supervised the compilation of a Best Practice Compendium as a knowledge document in the capacity of an Advisor CSR and Partnerships at IPE Global. These accomplishments are dedicated to her background of Batchelor of Arts, Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi and her MSW from Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi. She has held prestigious positions in multiple organizations like Voluntary Health Association of India, (RCH) India Lead for global programs on sexual reproductive health rights, SRHR alliance, Regional Resource Centre, State Voluntary Health Associations etc.
